Roy Rogers (1911 – 1998) Singer and cowboy actor. He and his third wife Dale Evans and his golden palomino Trigger were featured in over 100 movies as well as the popular Roy Rogers show on television.
Pierce Lyden (1908 – 1998) - movie actor typecast as the ‘bad guy’, he worked with the most famous Western movie actors including Roy Rogers, Gene Autry & Hopalong Cassidy.
Colour 8 x 10 photograph authentically signed by Rogers in black Sharpie ‘To Frank Trails of Happiness Roy Rogers’ and in white Sharpie by Lyden ‘To Frank Best Wishes Pierce Lyden’ Apart from a very slight imperfection on the top left of the photograph, the item is in a near fine condition. Coincidentally, the seller met Pierce Lyden in Hollywood in 1990.
