Gov Sir George Grey signed land deed 1867

A genuine piece of New Zealand history. Land deed with a lovely embossed paper seal of the 'Islands of New Zealand' personally signed by 'Our trusty and well beloved Sir George Grey K.C.B. Governor and Commander in Chief in and over the Colony of New Zealand at Christchurch this twentysecond day of January in the thirtieth year of Our Reign and in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sixtyseven' and signed 'G Grey'.

The deed relates to a parcel of land in the province of Otago sold to John Borton and Alexander McMaster.
