One page autograph letter on personal letterhead of Sir Vivian Fuchs and signed by him dated 4.1.95;
'I can report that our voyage south was very enjoyable, especially for my wife who had never been to Antarctica before. I was fortunate in that we arrived at the New Zealand Scott Base built to receive the Trans Antarctic Expedition 1958 on my birthday. I was 50 when I first arrived there! I end with many thanks, even if late, for the papers. Yours sincerely, Vivian Fuchs'
