Sir Robert Muldoon typed letter signed

An A4 letter on Prime Ministerial letterhead to a fellow MP -Mr B.S.G. Lambert, 'I am happy to endorse the enclosed book etc' and signed by Muldoon.

Sir Robert Muldoon 1921 -1992. New Zealand's Prime Minister 1975 until 1984. One of New Zealand's most polarising PMs. To supporters he was the voice of the 'ordinary bloke'; to critics he was a dictatorial bully. Defeated by Labour's David Lange in 1984, he remained as a National back bencher until shortly before his death in 1992.
