Armstrong, Neil

(1930 - ) American astronaut and in 1969 became the first man to set foot on the moon. Colour NASA 8 x 10 of a spacesuit clad Armstrong posing in front of a backdrop of the moon and holding his space helmet. Authentically signed in trademark blue felt tip ‘Neil Armstrong’. Obtained by the seller direct from Armstrong’s home in Lebanon, Ohio in 1992 some two years before he stopped signing for the general public. Signed photographs of Armstrong without dedications represent the pinnacle of astronaut autographs. Comes with the postal cancellation from Armstrong's hometown - Lebanon, Ohio.
