(1901 – 1960) American film actor nicknamed ‘The King of Hollywood’ in his heyday. Gable’s most celebrated role was Rhett Butler in the 1939 classic ‘Gone With the Wind’ in which he starred with Vivien Leigh.
A vintage matte pearl sepia photograph 5 x 7 of Gable. In a fine condition. As well as a printed inscription in white ‘Gratefully Clark Gable’, Gable has also signed personally ‘Clark Gable’ across the photograph. Although a little faint, the signature is clearly visible.
