This card was sent by the Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth to Jessie Robertson who was formerly in Royal Service at Balmoral Castle for Queen Mary & later became Housekeeper at Sandringham House, Norfolk, England where she retired in 1956.

Letter and card sent to Jessie Robertson who went into Royal service at Balmoral Castle for Queen Mary and later became Housekeeper at Sandringham House in Norfolk, England from King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (the current monarch's mother). The card in the King's hand states ;
Small Xmas Card in the hand of Lady Alice - 'Mrs Robertson with best wishes for Christmas 1958' and signed by her as well as Prince Henry signing as 'Henry'.
Measuring 85mm x 115mm, the card is in excellent order.

Measuring 32cm x 40cm, this beautifully framed portrait shows the Queen and Prince Philip in their Coronation robes standing with their children Prince Charles and Princess Anne.
Note in the hand of one of the favourite courtiers of King Charles II, Elizabeth Hamilton (1641-1708).
The document is a receipt in Hamilton's hand dated October 20th 1699 and signed by her.
