During its life, this item has been through two house fires and was thought to have been destroyed but fortunately survived.

Letter and card sent to Jessie Robertson who went into Royal service at Balmoral Castle for Queen Mary and later became Housekeeper at Sandringham House in Norfolk, England from King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (the current monarch's mother). The card in the King's hand states ;

Small Xmas Card in the hand of Lady Alice - 'Mrs Robertson with best wishes for Christmas 1958' and signed by her as well as Prince Henry signing as 'Henry'.

Measuring 85mm x 115mm, the card is in excellent order.

An authentically signed Coronation portrait by Queen Elizabeth II & Prince Philip dated 1953.

Measuring 32cm x 40cm, this beautifully framed portrait shows the Queen and Prince Philip in their Coronation robes standing with their children Prince Charles and Princess Anne.

Note in the hand of one of the favourite courtiers of King Charles II, Elizabeth Hamilton (1641-1708).

The document is a receipt in Hamilton's hand dated October 20th 1699 and signed by her.

William IV, known as the 'Sailor King' was the third son of King George III & King of Great Britain and Ireland and King of Hanover (1830 -1837) Succeeded by his niece Victoria in 1837.

From the Holyoake estate, this unique item is a framed 1971 Christmas card in Prince Charles' hand addressed to New Zealand Prime Minister Sir Keith and Lady Holyoake and signed 'Charles'.
