Lord Nelson (1758-1805) - Victor over the French at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. This stunning item comprises the close of a letter signed on 'HM Ship Victory, Madalena Island, 14 Feb 1804 (some 20 months before the engagement at Trafalgar).
Denis Glover (1912-1980) is one of New Zealand's outstanding literary figures. A celebrated poet, typographer and publisher, he played a key role in the golden age of New Zealand literature. Glover was also a brilliant wit, versatile sportsman, war hero and public celebrity.
